Camps

Every summer cadets have the opportunity to spend a week at an RAF base, where they can expect a whole host of activities and visits to be organised for them. These include air experience flying and opportunity flights in RAF aircraft, Shooting, Visits to sections on the base, outdoor activities and persuits and much more! There is also plenty of time for cadets to relax and socialise with there friends.

Camps are also available in the Easter. Those lucky enough will get the chance to go to an overseas base for camp. In 2005, 248 visited RAF Valley along with other squadron from around the Wing. We got to visit 22 Sqn C Flight Search and Rescue, SARTU, 19F & 208 Sqns. Cadet Holly Poynter of 248 sqn, was awarded best cadet on camp and rewarded with an hour flight in a hawk courtesy of 208 sqn!
